Barbie Semi-pedestrianization
is no longer believed, and yet ... Barbie architect is now very real. After practicing veterinary professions, surgeon, professor of gymnastics ... The popular Mattel doll will work in architecture. But it was not until several years to see her take on this role.
Indeed, this idea have in mind Despina Stratigakos, professor of architecture at the University of Buffalo in the U.S. since the early 2000s. And for good reason, Mattel regularly organizes a competition aimed at finding a new job for the famous blonde doll and the teacher has never wavered for Barbie Architect. It has among others, organized an exhibition "Barbie Architect" in 2007 within the University of Michigan and conducted a campaign to call for votes. According to her, Barbie Architect could give rise to vocations in a profession too masculine image. Objective
that you can follow the career of Barbie as Architect in the department stores will begin this fall. Helmet on his hips, drawing outfit on the shoulder, sunglasses and designer dress, Barbie Architect is now ready to experience the sites !

In the kitchen ...
And no. Because she has a sweet tooth ... and salt! Chips and crackers were therefore part of everyday life. It did not take 20 days for me to find her home again, cooking snacks "health" super easy and quick to prepare. Result: in 40 minutes we made pita chips house, a bean spread with black olives and a tomato salsa and mango. Photos to prove it!
So if you also have the salty tooth, I suggest you try these three recipes. I know it will not be easy, because I never measure the ingredients. I always let people go to their tastes and the contents of their pantry. And that's what my client did: these seasoned dishes according to the desire of their taste buds!
Pita "crunch"
- About 5 pita breads, cut into 8 wedges each
- Olive oil
- Spices to taste: paprika, chili pepper, garlic, basil, cumin ...
Simply brush the pita with oil, then season with spices and herbs. Bake 10 minutes at 450 Fahrenheit.
Salsa de tomates et mangue
- 2 tomates, épepinées et en dés
- 1 mangue, pelée et en dés
- Basilic frais haché finement, au goût
- 1 / 4 red onion chopped finely
- Olive oil and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in large bowl and eat on crackers, bread or spoon;)
Spread beans with black olives
- 1 can white beans, drained and rinsed
- Black olives pitted and finely chopped (to taste)
- 1 / 4 red onion, chopped finely
- Fresh coriander, finely chopped (to taste)
- olive oil and lemon juice (adjust according to desired consistency)
- Spices and herbs to taste.
A month ago, I went for a customer. To assess your eating habits, period! I was happy to put my nose in her pantry to find all kinds of spices, sauces or condiments did not use it. "And you have no ideas for cooking?" Am I then exclaimed ...

New Dali Museum in Antibes
Signed by architect Yann Weymouth, the building consists of a structure concrete plant and a wave undulating glass can withstand hurricane and tornado force 5 to protect the exceptional collection of works by the Catalan painter.
Weymouth architect had already worked the glass: it was part of the team that designed the Louvre pyramid in Paris.
According to the architect, the building structure was designed in harmony with the work of the artist: This duality is something often found in works of Dali, it therefore seems logical to play with two aspects. One is loud, brutal, bare concrete and the other is much more delicate, like a canvas, a stream, a flicker, an almost glass smooth.
Construction began: December 2008
Cost of Operation: $ 35 million. Composed of 96
oil paintings, over 100 watercolors and drawings and many sculptures, photographs and artwork, this collection is considered the largest outside of Spain.
Clien eye for the King of Surrealism: the museum opened to the public at 11:11 am January 11, 2011.

How To Solve Level 80 On Collapse
To buy your food, it's not just the corner store!
Last Friday, I received a secondary 5 student so she could live "a day in the life of a passionate nutritionist. My goal: to transmit my passion and give him a taste of my profession. She hesitated between nutritionist and ... Ambulance! Phew, what a difference. But to show how the world of food can be as interesting, I took her with me. At the grocery store, yes, yes!
The grocery store: my hobby
When people ask me, "Genevieve, what is your favorite activity?" I reply: "Make the grocery store." I'm a rare species, is not it? In fact, it's that I make discoveries. And this week I wanted a change. Saying goodbye to my eternal Metro and IGA my corner (of course, to impress my "future" Nutritionist visit, I had to sort the beaten track ...)
So we went to the Marché Gourmand Laval. First Harvest, Horticultural 440, Odessa Fisher: a must-meet there. However, in this type of market, there is always, you know, this little shop full of spices in the world of quality balsamic vinegar, tea special, fine kitchen accessories. In short, c ' was the paradise of the nutritionist in search of "sensation"!
So I left influenced the liking of colors, smells (as well as prizes!), Then I procured a Lebanese spice that made me know a colleague, Sumac. You know? A delight with hummus. Without forgetting the multicolored pasta coming directly from Italy and all handcrafted. I almost want to keep them for decoration!
In this small shop, you could also access the truffle oil, spreads house (onion marmalade, chutneys, etc..) Dressings produced in Quebec ... There's something for everyone and every budget! I told the owner she would see me hoe for sure.
From variety to eat!
This is not to go every week in a specialty store to create variety in their diet. However, it should s'avoir keep an open mind, able to enjoy a variety of foods. Dare! Be bold when you're grocery shopping, and when cooking, do you trust. You see, I have never surfaced with Sumac. And tonight, I just introduce a pinch in my pasta salad. Simple to reinvent a classic, right? But it is a change of scenery ...
Oh, and my intern in? Well she left with vegetables she did not know, new ideas for cooking, an intense desire to eat and ... heart full of passion for nutrition!
Mission accomplished;)

"Good financial news yesterday morning for Nice and the inhabitants of the urban community: the Minister for Ecology Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, announced that the state's grant was for the east-west line of the tram to 54.3 million. Of all the cities receiving assistance for their projects green transportation, Nice is one that receives financial assistance from the largest for a tram line. Questions Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor.
► This grant is it higher than originally planned?
Yes. The initial amount was 41.2 million. It therefore comes to 54.3 million, all of which must be added 2.1 million for the extension of Line 1 between Michel and the Pont Pasteur Hospital.
► In these times of fiscal crisis and credit squeeze, how to explain this generosity of the State in respect of Nice and its urban community?
In its first version, the east-west line ended at the Place Massena. Since we decided to extend it to the place Ile-de-Beauty and realize a portion of the route underground between François Grosso and the port. This is due to additional costs due to these changes I asked for a reassessment of aid. Fortunately for our finances, I managed to convince. This is another demonstration that an elected official who is respected and that weighs on the national scene, it counts.
► Do we know today the cost of the east-west line?
780 million euros TTC between the port and the prefecture.
► A final cost?
There is no one in France starts this magnitude can be said that the price is final even before work has begun. The amount may change upwards but also downwards. Tenders to be launched we may hold pleasant surprises, as has often happened in recent times. To date, the original estimate is not questioned.
► subsidies will be deducted. Besides the state, what other assistance will benefit the line 2?
The General Council has announced a grant of 47 million, a sum he will reevaluate to reflect the new version of the project. There are also aid the amount is yet to clarify, those of the regional council, the airport company, since part of the tram will serve the airport, and Europe.
► Europe?
Yes. These European funds earmarked for development in the regions. By adding, among other things, all these aids, our goal is to spend 780 million to a total of between 500 and 550 million euros. As such, the spreading in time, we can cope without putting a strain on public finances of our community urban.
► Are there counterparts to "gift" of the government of 54.3 million euros?
They are those of the Grenelle Environment. Our project has managed to convince the Minister of Environment, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet and coordinator of large loan, Rene Ricol. We meet all environmental criteria. And do not forget that Manchester has been chosen as one of the thirteen eco-cities of France. The exchange hub multimodal project in St. Augustine was already a reference model. We will be the only city in Europe to have a pole like that.
► What the expected benefits to the environment of the east-west line once it becomes operational in 2016?
Many Benefits to the health of Nice, with a significant reduction in traffic between the central and western entrance to the city. Today there are 75,000 passengers by bus on this route, they will be 120 000 with the tram, as planned! The air quality will be improved big-tion when we know that this axis is currently most concerned by CO2 emissions.
